Exploration & Production in Azerbaijan

JOINT VENTURE PARTNERS: SOCAR/ATTILA DOGAN PROJECT: Neftchala Oil Field Development LOCATION:  Azerbaijan COMPLETION DATE:  20 Year Contract

In 1993, AD Petroleum (ADP) secured the rights of an onshore contract area of 2500 km² in Azerbaijan in a joint venture with State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) on a production sharing basis.  In 1994, Land & General Berhad of Malaysia joined the consortium.  The contract duration is 20 years.

Geological, geophysical, drilling and production activities, as well as rehabilitation of the 795 existing oil wells, are being carried out.
