The project was the first desalter to be built in Turkey. AD-Demirel has completed this project with zero welding error. The weight of the desalter is 165 tonnes built for Tengizchevroil Second Generation Project in Kazakhstan.

AD-Demirel has been awarded the US$4.5 Million manufacturing contract for the Magnesium Oxide Plant to be built for JORMAG in Jordan.Equipment for the JORMAG project includes heavy bulk stackers and reclaimers, a rotary lime kiln, ion exchange system for boron removal from the brine, large thickeners and a bagging system.
Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s first magnesium oxide plant is designed to utilize that nation’s vast reservoir of Dead Sea brine and locally available limestone.
Plans call for the plant, located 120 km south of the Jordanian capital of Amman, to produce 50,000 tonnes per year of high quality magnesium oxide and 10,000 tonnes per year of specialty products. The magnesium oxide will be used for high end insulation often used for steel industry furnaces.
